I know that there is this episode of OTR Sherlock Holmes called "The Adventure of the Venerable Bede" but I can't find it anywhere! If anyone has any clues, please respond!

This is a long shot; sorry if it's not the one, but...

Is there a chance that you got the episode title wrong?

Does 'Maltree Abbey' sound familiar?

How about the motto "If the Maltrees be in need, seek the Venerable Bede"?

Does the story involve the playing of some music written by Bede himself?

If so, go to this page and check out #512 in the player, 'The Adventure Of Maltree Abbey', from March 31, 1947, with Tom Conway and Nigel Bruce:

If I'm right, you owe me a jar of Kreml Hair Tonic.

Thanks again Harry,
I was not aware of this group of Holmes episodes. It has some that I have not heard before.
I'm going to Kresge-Newark this afternoon to pick up my new Clipper Craft Suit. If I see any tonic there I'll get it for you.
